I make xylophones, metallophones, marimbas, and other tuned percussion for professional musicians, this has included making an African style concert marimba for Evelyn Glennie.
I also design instruments for theatre, schools and groups working with people with complex disabilities. I have recently been commissioned to make outdoor musical instruments which combine the ruggedness of playground equipment with the beauty of musical instruments. I also offer an instrument repair service.

We work with a huge number of people of all ages, abilities with varying degrees of musicianship and understanding of the arts but the manza seems to command attention from each visitor and everyone seems comfortable playing it.... contd.
